4th International DoSChem Student Symposium 12.-13.09.24.

4th International DoSChem Student Symposium

  • When: September 12-13 (Thu-Fri) 2024
  • Where: Faculty of Chemistry; UZA II (lecture hall 3), Josef-Holaubek-Platz 2

The DoSChem Symposium always gathers a lot of students and faculty of our large Doctoral school (>200 PhD students; >50 PIs), where the projects of the three different research focus areas are presented and discussed. Each session is opened by a renowed keynote speaker invited by the students. This allows the discussion and connection between the variety of our focus areas and therefore from all corners of chemistry.

Keynote Speakers (2023)

  • Panel A: Kunal Masania, Faculty of Aerospace Engineering, Delft University of Technology
  • Panel B: Carlo Barbante, Institute of Polar Sciences – CNR, University Ca' Foscari Venice
  • Panel C: Frank Wuerthner, Institute for Organic Chemistry and Center for Nanosystems Chemistry, Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg
