The University of Vienna’s Entrepreneurship Team invites PhD students and postdocs from all disciplines to apply for the Venture Creation Summer School 2026, taking place from 29 June to 3 July 2026.
This five-day intensive programme offers a hands-on introduction to venture creation. Participants will work in teams to generate and refine ideas, explore customer needs, test solutions, develop business models, and learn how to communicate their projects effectively. The programme is led by Dr Yossi Maaravi (Dean and Co-Founder of the Adelson School of Entrepreneurship, Reichman University).
In addition to entrepreneurial skills, the Summer School also strengthens transferable competences such as decision-making under uncertainty, teamwork, structured problem-solving, and clear communication. The programme concludes with a Demo Day, where teams present their ventures in an investor-style pitch.
