Situation management & resolution, psychological assistance

Misunderstandings and obstacles within the lab routine, your fellow students and your supervisor(s) may lead to tensions and disagreements. Different opinions and even conflicts are a normal part of any interpersonal relationships and arise for a variety of reasons: lack of information and useful feedback, excessive control by a supervisoror, lack of honesty, and discrimination (Adrian-Taylor et al., 2007).

Depending on how you manage your conflicts, it can evolve in negative consequences or even in positive outcomes, e.g. improving relationships between all parties involved. Overall, talking to others helps…

We at DoSChem would like to offer our support to all students and PIs

If conflicts arise during your PhD studies that require outside assistance to solve, please do not hesitate to reach out to any members of the DoSChem management team  or student representatives directly

We are available for one-on-one meetings to discuss the problem and take measures to reach a conflict/problem resolution together with you.

All information will be treated highly confidential and only communicated to other (involved) parties with your consent.
