- Appointed by the Rectorate of the University of Vienna
- Responsible for the DoSChem leadership team
- Represent DoSChem within the university and the broader scientific community
- Ensure compliance with good scientific practice and the DoSChem Code of Practice
- Chair the Steering Committee as DoSChem’s executive body
- Active researchers and supervisors of DoSChem doctoral candidates
- Term of office: 1 October 2026 – 30 September 2028
- Support the strategic, academic, and administrative management of DoSChem.
- Coordinate application, admission, recruitment, and onboarding processes.
- Manage internal and external communications, including the website and digital communication channels.
- Plan and organize curriculum-related activities, training programmes, events, and outreach initiatives.
- Support the Head, Deputy Head, and Steering Committee in the implementation of departmental objectives.
- Oversee administrative, financial, and operational processes, including database management and alumni engagement activities.

- Equal members of the DoSChem Steering Committee
- Represent student interests and contribute to decision-making
- Facilitate communication between students, supervisors, and management
- Lead the organization of the Student Symposium (DoSChem’s largest annual event)
- Manage a dedicated budget for community activities (e.g. Stammtisch, networking events, excursions)
Student representatives strengthen the DoSChem community while gaining leadership and transferable skills.
