Four young researchers from the Faculty of Chemistry (Nuno Maulide's group, Phillip Grant, Immo Klose (DoSChem Ex-member) and Iakovos Saridakis (DoSChem PhD student) and Erika Schaudy (DoSChem Alumnae, Institute of Inorganic Chemistry, Mark Somoza’s group) were invited to participate in the prestigious 71st Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting.
Erika Schaudy was one of 14 young scientists selected to present their research in the "Next Gen Science Session" at the recently concluded Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting 2022.
Her talk from June 27, entitled "Light-Directed Synthesis of Complex Nucleic Acid Libraries," can be viewed here: Video - Next Gen Science (2022): Presentations by young scientists (lindau-nobel.org).
Erika Schaudy works in the group "Nucleic Acid Chemistry" under the supervision of Mark Somoza. The selection of the speakers was based on the submitted abstracts.
Around 30 Nobel Laureates and almost 500 young scientists could meet again on site for the 71st Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting in Lindau, Germany on Lake Constance. This prestigious meeting plays a unique role as an international forum of exchange.
Congratulations to the young scientists, specifically to Erika Schaudy for being selected to present her work there!
