At the Symposium of the Austrian Society for Toxicology (ASTOX) held this year at the Universität für Bodenkultur Wien (Muthgasse), soon to be DoSChem student Magdalena Pöchhacker won the first poster prize for her poster entitled Discovery, mode of action & biosynthesis of marine biotoxins. Magdalena is in the group of Doris Marko and is co-supervised by Elisabeth Varga (both Department of Food Chemistry and Toxicology ). The topic of the symposium was Regulatory Toxicology and Alternative Methods and it took place on 15-16 September 2022.
