Heinzel-Mondi-Sappi Award for Resource Efficiency

Philip Verdross, Institute of Materials Chemistry at the Faculty of Chemistry, was awarded the Heinzel-Mondi-Sappi Prize.

Philip Verdross was able to publish his research results on "Black liquor-based epoxy resin: Thermosets from untreated kraft lignin" in the Chemical Engineering Journal (CEJ) as part of his dissertation and received the Heinzel-Mondi-Sappi Research Award 2024 (category: Resource Efficiency). This award recognizes outstanding scientific work that has a proven positive impact on the future of the pulp and paper industry.
